EFVET invites you to participate in our next  Annual Conference which will take place in Lisbon from the 13th to the 16th of October. Non members are also invited to participate.
 
Participants need to complete two forms, the Registration Form and the Hotel Bookings Form.
 
 
Members who are interested in participating at the Round Tables can submit their proposal using the form below.

Day 1: Wednesday 13th October

Welcome and information session for new members and first time participants: - “Introduction to EfVET and the conference”. Peter Hodgson, President of EfVET, and the Steering Committee members.
19:15-20:00 Reception for all delegates and partners: Hotel Altis.

Day 2: Thursday 14th October

Workshops
1. Challenging times, positive action: Managing in a time of funding pressures!!!

2. Pedagogical innovation: Sharing good practice in meeting the varied needs of learners – an exploration of blended learning and harnessing technologies such as twitter and facebook within the learning process

3. What makes a good learning environment – learning spaces to promote self learning – non traditional learning spaces

4. Promoting social cohesion – developing a strategy for volunteering – learning by doing – an awareness of self within the community – how to develop such opportunities as part of the learning process.

5. Responding to the challenges of vocational and Lifelong Learning to meet the EU Strategic objectives 2020 (How member states and their VET institutions are implementing VET/LLL reforms – the impact and good practice)

6. Addressing the needs of learners in danger of ‘dropping out’ or disengagement in education and training

Roundtables - Conference offers European project partners the opportunity to disseminate progress, results and products of their Transnational Transfer of Innovation; Development of Innovation and other European initiatives – a key to successful valorisation of project outcomes and sustainability.

Mobility Market place.  Mobility is a key objective of the EC in stimulating and improving VET. This year it is envisaged that ‘mobility groups’ will be formed along occupational / skill sector lines (to give the opportunity for establishing partnerships / networks and reciprocal exchange.  Refreshment break incorporated in to Marketplace session as and when required by participants
