EfVET is a unique European-wide professional association which has been created by and for providers of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in all European countries. Its mission is to champion and enrich technical and vocational education and training through transnational cooperation and building a pan-European network of institutions that could lead to European VET policies.
EVTA is one of the most important European networks representing the education and vocational training sector. Founded in 1998, the association is the result of the collaboration of Euroqualification, a project started in 1993 aimed at building a European platform for joint planning, mutual recognition of professional qualifications, development of training programmes in line with the needs of the business and labour market, and for geographical mobility of students. EVTA is today an important stakeholder in the field of VET and human capital development, and provides support to its members, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met.
