Digital Marketing Workshop organised by the IUS Life Center

Digital Marketing Workshop: Implementation of online business for SME textile industry

Within the project “Support Program for Women Affected by Covid 19 – Implementation of Online Business” implemented by the Chamber of Commerce FBH in cooperation with the Gender Center FBH, a two-day workshop focusing on the most important areas of digital marketing was held at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS).
The organiser of this interactive workshop was the IUS Life Center for Lifelong Learning, which again offered quality training and recognized the need to adapt to online business at this time, generally accepted as the new normal. The workshop was held in compliance with the prescribed epidemiological measures.

The beneficiaries of this project are female employees in the textile industry, which suffered significant losses during the pandemic time. One of the ways to mitigate the consequences is the transition to online business, and the aim of this workshop was to transfer to the participants the basic knowledge about the use of internet tools, digital marketing, SEO, WordPress, etc.

The aim of the project is to support women affected by coronavirus in the development and implementation of a new online way of doing business and education in the independent management of available online tools.  The transition to online business is imposed as an inevitability for all businesses, because it has become a way to mitigate the negative consequences and continue to do business online.
The project is financially supported from the FIGAP II program: Program for implementation of the Gender Action Plan of BiH (FIGAP II program 2018-2020), is the result of cooperation between the Agency for Gender Equality of BiH – Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH, Gender Center of the Federation of BiH and Gender Center Republika Srpska, and its goal is to ensure the sustainable implementation of the Gender Action Plan of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The program is supported by the Kingdom of Sweden, represented by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden in Bosnia and Herzegovina, through the development agency SIDA.
Thanks to the actors of this project, the workshop was free of charge for participants and several textile companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We thank all for the support and we wish to our participants a lot of success in online business.
